Information you give us
- Enquiries and viewings: your name, email address, phone number and the property you are interested in.
- Rental applications: identity documents, employment and income details, current address, previous landlord details and information about other occupants and pets.
- Tenancy: your lease, payments, deposit, repair requests, messages, visitor passes and facility bookings.
- Property owners: ownership details, bank details for payouts and tax information.
- Reviews: any review you choose to write about us.
Information collected automatically
- Pages you visit and properties you view, so we can count interest in each home (we do not count our own staff or search engines).
- Saved properties and comparisons, which are stored only on your own device.
- Basic device and browser information and, if you accept cookies, analytics information about how the site is used.
2. How we use your information

We only send marketing messages if you have agreed to receive them, and every message includes a way to stop them. Listing alerts can be stopped with one click from any alert email.
3. Who we share it with
We never sell your personal information. We only share it when needed to provide our service:
- The owner of the home you rent or apply for
- Our maintenance team and contractors, who receive only what they need to do the job
- Payment providers that process card and bank payments
- Referencing and credit-check agencies, with your consent, when you apply
- Email, SMS and hosting providers that run our systems for us
- Authorities, when the law requires it
4. How long we keep it
- Enquiries and viewing requests that do not lead to a tenancy: up to 12 months.
- Unsuccessful applications: up to 6 months.
- Tenancy and financial records: 7 years after the tenancy ends, as required for accounting and tax.
5. Keeping it safe
Your data is stored on secure servers, sent over encrypted connections and only available to staff who need it. Accounts can be protected with two-factor authentication, and payment card details are handled by our payment providers — we never store full card numbers.
6. Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and remember your language. Analytics cookies are only used if you accept them in the cookie notice. You can clear cookies in your browser at any time.
7. Your rights
You can ask us to:
- See the personal information we hold about you
- Correct anything that is wrong
- Delete information we no longer need
- Stop marketing messages or listing alerts
- Give you a copy of your information in a common format

8. Children
Our services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children except as occupants listed on a lease by their parent or guardian.
